Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using SnappyStrip and your responsibilities when creating, saving, downloading, or sending content.
Last updated:
1. Accepting these Terms
By using SnappyStrip, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use SnappyStrip for another person or organization, you confirm that you can accept these Terms for them.
2. Who may use SnappyStrip
You must be able to make a valid agreement under the law that applies to you. Otherwise, use SnappyStrip only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision. The service is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
3. What SnappyStrip provides
SnappyStrip lets you capture or upload photos, design photo strips, create optional videos, save eligible designs, and download or send results. Some features need device permission, browser support, an internet connection, an account, temporary storage, or third-party delivery. Results may vary by device and browser.
4. Accounts and access
- Keep your email account, device, and signed-in session secure.
- Give accurate information when signing in or asking for help.
- Do not access another person's account, files, collection, or links without permission.
- Sign out after using a shared device.
We may limit, suspend, or end access to protect users, enforce these Terms, follow the law, or maintain the service.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, designs, text, and other content you provide. These Terms do not transfer ownership to us.
You give SnappyStrip a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, change, send, and display your content only to provide, secure, fix, and maintain the features you use.
This license ends when your content leaves our active systems. Limited copies may remain briefly in backups, security logs, or legally required records.
You must own your content or have permission to use it. This includes permission from people shown where the law requires it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use SnappyStrip to:
- Create or share unlawful, abusive, threatening, exploitative, or intentionally harmful content.
- Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Upload malware, break security, bypass limits, or disrupt the service.
- Scrape or send automated or bulk requests that burden the service or avoid rate limits.
- Impersonate someone or use another person's account or email without permission.
- Use links or email for spam, harassment, or unwanted content.
- Upload sexual content involving minors or content that exploits or endangers a child.
We may remove content, disable links, restrict access, or contact authorities when needed to stop abuse, protect safety, or follow the law.
7. Downloads, QR codes, and email
Download and QR links may expire, have use limits, or stop working when the file expires. Save important files before that happens.
If you enter an email or share a link, you confirm that you may send the content to that person. We cannot control a file after it is downloaded, copied, forwarded, or delivered to another mailbox.
8. SnappyStrip materials
SnappyStrip's software, branding, illustrations, interface art, mascots, and supplied templates belong to the SnappyStrip team or are used with permission. Unless the law allows it, do not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute them.
These Terms do not limit fair use, fair dealing, interoperability, open-source rights, or other rights that cannot be restricted.
9. Third-party services
We use other companies for hosting, sign-in, storage, security, and email. Their services follow their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outside sites or services you choose to use.
10. Changes and availability
We may update, limit, replace, or stop features. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free service, support for every device, or permanent storage of unfinished work. Keep copies of important files.
11. Disclaimers
As far as the law allows, SnappyStrip is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or permanent storage.
These Terms do not remove warranties or consumer rights that the law says cannot be excluded.
12. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, the SnappyStrip team is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss. This includes lost data, profit, opportunity, or goodwill caused by using or being unable to use the service.
These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
13. Ending use
You may stop using SnappyStrip at any time and delete saved strips from your collection. You may also contact us about an account or privacy request.
Rules that should continue after use ends still apply, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for past conduct.
14. Applicable law
These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer or privacy rights where you live. A dispute must be handled under applicable law by a court or other forum with lawful authority.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. The date above shows the latest version. We will give appropriate notice of material changes. Where the law allows, using SnappyStrip after new Terms take effect means you accept them.
