Why we build
SnappyStrip?
SnappyStrip did not start as
it is today. It started as
Photoboothopens in a new tab, a simple web
app we built to see what a
browser based photobooth
could be.
From the beginning, one
thing made it different. We
designed all of the photo
strips ourselves. We did not
use ready made templates.
We wanted every strip to
feel unique and personal.
As more people tried it, we
noticed something. They
were not just taking photos.
They were enjoying the
experience with the strip
designs they liked. We
realized that a well designed
photo strip can make a
special moment feel even
more meaningful.
That was when we knew this
could be more than just a
project for us. It could be
something people would enjoy
at birthdays, weddings, school
events, and other celebrations.
We wanted everyone to have a
photo strip that felt like it
belonged to them. Not just a
simple picture on a phone, but
something they could customize
and look back on.
So we rebuilt it and called it
SnappyStrip.
